Just a heads up: On March 24, 2025, starting at 4:30pm CDT / 19:30 UTC, the site will be undergoing scheduled maintenance for a few hours. During this time, the site might be unavailable for a short while. Thanks for your patience.
×I found tons of information about how to do very complex searches but not one article explaining how to just find a ticket by its number. i.e. AJAX-642
When I type that into search field it says:
"Error in the JQL Query: Expecting operator before the end of the query. The valid operators are '=', '!=', '<', '>', '<=', '>=', '~', '!~', 'IN', 'NOT IN', 'IS' and 'IS NOT'."
Hi @Clay Barclay ,
welcome to the Atlassian community!
Here your jql :
issuekey = AJAX-642
Hope this helps,
Fabio
That will do thanks!

Hi @Fabio Racobaldo _Herzum_ I had a similar question. Can you please elaborate on your response? As I type in "ISSUE KEY=ES-156" on my JIRA service management system on the issue search section of the ticket range, it comes up with a no results screen.
