Hey guys,
This is probably a stupid question, but I can't seem to find it.
I have some issue types in my project, but I don't want anyone to be able to create Service Requests and Incidents from within. I need them to use the catalog for that.
I want only Problem, Task and Change available from there.
How do I exclude those options from the "Create" button?
Btw, only 3 are showing up (Problem, Task and Service Request). But when I write down "Incident" it works, like it was only hidden.
Sorry if I wasn't clear, feel free to ask further questions.
Thanks
You can't, sort of - the list you see on the create screen is the list you have in the "issue type scheme".
If you don't want those issue types in your project at all, this is easy - edit the issue type scheme and remove the ones you don't want.
If you need them, but don't want people creating them, you have a problem, which does not have any great solutions. One is to use something like Behaviours to hide them, but this won't stop people creating them from other places. Another is to add impossible validators to them, but this is *really* annoying to your users as they have to start all over again when creating a different type.
