I'm creating a new team-managed Space for the first time since everything changed (eg Projects became Spaces).
It's a Software space, using the Kanban template.
I need the Releases feature. In the past I've enabled that in Project/Space Settings -> Features.
But I don't see it there as an option. All I've got on the Features settings page is
What am I missing?
I did a search first and found this: https://community.atlassian.com/forums/Jira-questions/I-dont-see-the-Features-option-to-enable-Releases-in-next-gen/qaq-p/2393771
But the solution accepted there (that Releases are only available in Software-type projects) doesn't apply - this is a Software space (it says so under the Space name in the left hand side bar)
Yoy can work with versions in your Kanban space:
1-Enable the Kanban backlog
2-Add a release/version in your space
3-Activate the version panel in the backlog
Thanks very much, that's done it. Was so much easier to find things when the left sidebar had space-specific entries. We hardly ever use the Board view!

Hi @Rupert Ward
You’re not missing anything, Jira’s UI has changed. In team-managed Spaces, the Releases feature is no longer enabled from Space settings -> Features (that page now only shows options like Sprints, Estimation, and Standups).
Instead, you enable Releases by adding it to the space navigation. Open your Space, click “+ Add to navigation” in the left sidebar, and select Releases. Once you add it, the Releases page will appear and versions (Fix version field) will be available in the space.

Thanks for the reply, but I'm not seeing any "+ Add to navigation" option in the left sidebar! The left sidebar doesn't contain anything space-specific any more.
So I think I am still missing something :)
Have to admit I've been finding this new UI quite confusing for just this reason - I tend to work in one space at a time so having all this cross-project stuff in the left sidebar is quite irritating.

Enric has shared screenshots above that show where to find these options, which should help locate the settings in the new UI.

Ah, it's in the top bar of the Board view.
