How do I edit or delete incorrect shortcut/item in a next-gen project?

I've added an incorrect link via Add Item button and the left pane in . But there is no Remove or Edit button to change this item. What can I do to remove the incorrect shortcut?

So if you click on the pencil icon for the added shortcut you don't see this???
