How do I display bugs in the links? Currently, only stories that are linked to each other appear.

Razin Rangara November 16, 2023

Here is my JQl

project = TEST AND issuetype = Story AND parent in (TEST-101, TEST-102, TEST-103) order by created DESC

TEST101,102,103 are Epics

It shows as below result, only story/features that are linked to each other appears under "Links" columns, How can I also show bugs that are linked to story/features

For example, Test1100 is a story/feature from one of the epic and under Links column it shows that it is linked to story/feature Test1101 and Test1102 but not the bugs which are also linked to Test1100

Hello @Razin Rangara

Welcome to the Atlassian community.

Can you show us an image of Test1101 showing how the Bugs are linked to it? Do they show in the Linked Issue section?

Only issues from that section will show in the Linked Issues column in the filter output.

Can you provide screen images showing an actual issue and the actual output from the filter?

Sorry I can't share the actual screenshots because of sensitivity of the data. The above example is the best I could do.

You could obscure all the information except the issue keys to protect confidentiality.

Any issues shown in the Linked Issues section of an issue should show in the Linked Issues field in the filter results, assuming that is the built in Linked Fields "field" being shown in the filter results and not some other custom field with the same name.

If you have a non-expired license and are entitled to  support from Atlassian, tou may want to have your Jira Administrators raise this issue to them. You may trust them enough to share the data with them. And if you are using Jira Cloud it would be possible for them to be granted access to your system to examine the situation first hand.
