How do I delete boards in the new navigation (2020)?

How can I get to the View All Boards page that existed in the old navigation? As site admin, I need to be able to see that list to delete old boards without going into each project (of which we have dozens) separately.

Never mind; it's at the bottom of the Board menu in any project. Not intuitive for an admin who's used to seeing filters, boards, and dashboards View All in the main navigation.

agreed, this is really bad implementation

I have all possible permissions (I think! I am the owner, manager, leader, administrator) and I cannot find a delete action in the Board menu or anywhere else. A user created a test board to test some issues and we are stuck with it, neither the user nor I are able to delete this board.

@shanishalgithe bottom of the Board menu in any project should have a link to View All:

Once you've clicked View All, it will take you to a page with all boards. If you do have the correct access, you should be able to click the three dots menu at the right of the board in question and see the Delete option:

Thank you @Esther Strom but I do not have the OTHER BOARDS link. I am the owner of the board, the administrator of Jira, and I've given myself all possible permissions. It seems like a bug, or a very bad design that 3 smart people from my company including our PM could not find any way to delete a board. At least if the option was disabled, I would know that it existed, but as of now, I have no option to delete TestBoard.

@shanishalgi Does https://<yoursite>.atlassian.net/jira/boards work for you? If so, you should then be able to follow the steps I provided to delete the board in question.

YES! Wow thank you.
I cannot believe this is not a bug on their part, that I can only see all boards by a direct link. Thank you again!

I'm glad it helped. I would report it to Atlassian support if I were you. I've double-checked all of the global permissions and don't see anything that should affect the ability to see the View All link, but it's also not a universal bug that's affecting all customers.

I talked with support and they opened an issue:
Ability to delete boards within the project
You can vote for it if you like (or anyone else facing this problem if you've read up to here :) )

@Esther Strom THANK YOU! I was going nuts trying to find the delete option and that direct page link worked!
