How do I delete an active/future sprint from a deleted project (cloud)

Hi, I'm using the cloud version of Jira. During testing, I created a couple of sprints in a test project. I deleted the project but did not delete the sprints beforehand is there any way to delete those sprints so they do not show up during issue creation?

Thanks, Walter, the similar thread did work. The steps weren't extremely clear or detailed but through interpretation, trial, and error, I was able to figure it out. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
