How do I create a site name?

I’m trying to create an account for the first time. Signed in with google. However, no matter what I type for a site name, it will not let me “agree” and move on. Am I missing a formatting requirement?

I am not sure where you are in the process, but it should be pretty straightforward to sign up for a new site.

I suppose your google account is already registered as your Atlassian account. If that is the case, you should click the option Start a new site and enter a name without any spaces, that adheres to the guidelines in this screenshot:

The name must be unique as well, but the tool will let you know if it isn't.
