I have a reoccurring project at the end of each week. It would be great if when I hit complete for the current week on that ticket, it pops up as a new ticket the following week. Is this something that can be set up to do automatically?

Hi @elsa.villanueva

Welcome to the community.

You can create an automation rule with a scheduled trigger, and then a create issue action.

In the automation templates you can already find such a rule, you can customise this to you wishes

The rule is called: Schedule a recurring ticket

Adding to this...

You can alternately create a rule with an Issue Transitioned trigger and set the trigger to activate only when an issue is transitioned to the "completed" status. Then add condition to check things like Issue Type and any other applicable criteria to limit the rule to creating a new issue only when it is the issue being completed is one that needs to have a recurring issue created.
