How do I create a filter on issues using our AD connected in the User Directories?

I am trying to create a filter for a dashboard that uses our AD Groups in our environment (20+). The users in our AD groups can be in constant change. Our AD is already connected to the User Directories section.

I need the filter to be able to pull users in the specific AD Groups in a specific field to show their activity in JIRA.

For example, if associates A, B, C, and D updated field 11 (multiple name picker field), I want to build a report showing their names, based on their AD Groups.

     AD Group Yellow: Associate A, Associate B

     AD Group Blue: Associate C, Associate D

What the filter would show, based on the AD Groups, is the following

• Dashboard for Group Yellow:
  • Field 11: Associate A, Associate B
• Dashboard for Group BLue
  • FIeld 11: Associate C, Associate D

The different AD Groups are different teams. and I want to build a dashboard for each manager showing the activities of their direct reports in JIRA, already using our existing AD Groups we have built today.

How do I accomplish this? I am a total JIRA amateur so any tips, tricks, articles would be greatly appreciated.
