How do I create a Two Dimensional Filter statistics gadget using a sub-task workflow?

steven.r.gilberto January 10, 2020

My task workflow is a simplified workflow and my sub-task workflow is customized. I am looking to get the statuses of the sub-task workflow to display along the x-axis and the assignee along the y-axis. Right now it is only displaying the simplified workflow statuses. Is there a way to get the other ones?

What does your filter look like that you are associating to the gadget? Your filter should be filtering on some tasks specifically if that is your goal. I assume you are sure the sub-task workflow is indeed published.

Yes I checked the workflow is published and the query I am using is this:

project = ****** AND issuetype = Sub-task AND resolution = Unresolved

Please share a screenshot of your workflow and assign to sub tasks as well as the resulting gadget

Im not sure what you mean a screenshot of assign to subtasks but here are the other two.image.pngimage.png

Thanks. And can you confirm that you have some sub-tasks that exist in other states?

Hmmm I just updated one subtask and it shows up in the gadget but when I moved it to the next status the previous one disappears. It looks like there needs to be at least on sub-task under each status in order for it to appear on the gadget. Any thoughts on how to have it appear even if there is no data? I moved one sub-task from verification to done and the verification column disappeared
