I've seen this https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Bitbucket-questions/How-do-I-connect-a-Bitbucket-repository-with-a-Jira-Cloud/qaq-p/582105 but it gets me nowhere.

I don't see any Add source code option.

Is this information outdated?

I want to connect a Bitbucket repo to a Jira project. Manage all issues within jira and also import the issues I have from the Bitbucket project to the Jira project.

This should be simple to do, but instead is really frustrating and can't see how to do it.Jira problem.png

I've managed to associate the bitbucket repo with the Jira project.

Still haven't managed to import the issues from Bitbucket.

This should be simple to do, I've wasted a considerable amount of time to associate the repo with jira and after even more time I still haven't been able to import issues. The user experience is sub par, this should be really simple and easy but seems impossible instead.

I go to Jira Software -> settings -> system -> external system import - There's no bitbucket option!?!?

Also tried to export issues from bitbucket, but it exports a zip file which contains a json and a directory with attachments, there's no option to import a zip file on Jira.

There's also no good documentation on this. Pretty frustrating...
