How do I configure all Project issue types with Preview when linked

I have added a new issuetype to my project.

When I link that new issuetype to parent, I am not able to see a preview the way I can with other issue types such as story and subtask. 

How do I configure new issuetype bug so that I can see a preview when it's linked without having to open issue.  

This is an example of a linked subtask issue with the open preview functionality I want to have on issuetype bug

I am not finding that button in my Jira instance.

Can you provide a wider screen view image to give context to where you are seeing that? Are you looking at an issue on an agile board or in a dashboard or an Advanced Roadmap plan? Is this a view from within Jira itself or in a third party app? 

What is the project type where you see this view?
