How do I change event descriptions/names?

Hi,

in my company's system the events have an English name and a German description (see an example for the event "issue created" below). The problem: When adding a post function in the workflows, the German and not the English name is shown. We need to see all events in English because we have English speaking admins. Therefor, I would like to know how I can translate all event attributes back to English.

My best guess is, that you switched the system's default language from german to english at some point... or is your user account in English and System is in German?

Either way, you probably need the Atlassian support. They might be able to change the description texts into English, if they've not been translated correctly.

There is no way to access those texts via Admin UI.
