How do I assign/move an issue collector to a new dashboard/parent project?

We have split one project into two, one focusing on the general learning tech issues and one focusing on a new sub-product of learning tech.

We had two issue collectors created when they were under one project/dashboard.  

Now we want to assign/move one of the collectors to the new dashboard/project.

Is there a way to do this?

Hi Shane, 

Welcome to the Atlassian Community!  Just to recap my understanding, you have two issue collectors right now for a single project and you want to split this so that the first collector stays tied to the current project, but the second issue collector uses a new project. 

If my understanding is correct, you would need to make a new issue collector in the new project.  You cannot move/migrate an issue collector from one project to another.  The issue collectors are project specific and would need to be recreated to change the project ID which they are tied.
