How do I assign an independant story to an existing Epic (moving the story under an Epic)?

I created a new story outside an existing epic. How do I now move that story to the corresponding epic?

Answer accepted

If you're using the rapid board, then you just need to drag and drop the story from the Backlog into the Epic label on the left-most side of the planning board. The left-most side shows a list of epics.

You can drag and drop stories from the backlog into epic
