I would like [Alias|myprotocol://some/url/here] to be recognized as a link in a JIRA issue description (JIRA v6.3.6) but unfortunately it only works if I use "http" or "https"

Thanks,

Julien

I believe that you can enable the HTML module for the wiki renderer: https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Configuring+Renderers and then switch the description field to use the wiki render: https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Specifying+Field+Behavior and then do something like:

{html}<a href="test://example.com">test</a>{html}

Julien,

There's an improvement for that at https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRA-26419. I'd suggest you to add yourself as watcher. wink
