How do I add someone to watch a user story?

Hi! 

I'm trying to determine how to enable my account to add others in my business unit to watch a user story. I did go through the help doc and updated all of my settings as needed and it still isn't showing up in my instance.

Is the individual already a user i.e. do they have Atlassian account? If so you can simply click the eyeball icon when looking at the detailed issue vIew.

Yes they are. But when I click on the eyeball is only has the option for me to watch the story. And not to add anyone else.

Ah….you need Manage Watchers permissions. Project settings > permissions
