Thanks.  I had already read that.  What I eventually figured out was I need to unlink by checking this radio button "Don't link to a knowledge base", deleting my original space and then link to a knowledge base and put in the new space I wanted.  Far from intuitive.  Not sure why i just can't edit the space field from the Settings tab.
