How do I add existing Jira project issues to Kanban board?

I created a project in Jira and added a bunch of issues. I'd like to manage the project via Kanban board but I cannot figure out how to have these issues displayed as cards in the swimlane columns.

Check you filter for the board, are you able to see then if you click 'View in Issue Navigator' while configuring the board?
Are these issues having fixVersions, if yes they wont show due to the subQuery in the configuration. Either change the sub query of get rid of the fixversions

Yes. I removed this subfilter and my issues are on the board. Thanks!
