How differentiate current sprint tickets and previous sprint tickets color wise?

I just want an option/filter to enable in our Jira Scrum Board where we can able to differentiate current sprint tickets and previous sprint tickets (i.e., carried forward from last sprint tickets) color wise?

Kindly help me with the exact way how can I achieve this?

Thanks in advance!

Hi @Raghu Kiran Kumbakonam Shrinivasa [EXT] -- Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

What type of project are you using: company-managed or team-managed?

If you are using company-managed, you could use the card color feature to add a stripe of color to the carried-over stories.  For example:

  • from the board, navigate to ... > Configure Board > Card Colors
  • select Queries
  • add a color with the JQL of: sprint IN closedSprints()
  • save the changes, and return back to the board

The card color feature is not yet available for team-managed projects: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSWCLOUD-17277

Kind regards,
Bill
