How can we use Import Issue Links from a CSV File as non-admin to Update Current issues?

Our team is looking to update custom fields for existing Jira Issues and we are trying to use the functionality provided by jira in "Import Issue Links from a CSV File" as described in this help section: https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/how-to-change-the-issue-creation-date-using-csv-import-779160699.html

However, the "Issue key" mapping is NOT available anymore in our jira version (Jira v8.19.1) and when we map to "Issue Id", we cannot UPDATE existing issues, but only create new ones having the "external ID" same as what we map to "Issue Id", and a new Jira Key assigned.

Is there any other way we can achieve the update Jira tickets with a .csv import?
