How can we complete Sprint when the issues have sub-tasks

Sveta Oproshchenko March 27, 2018

We have all issues with status "Resolved" which includes the sub-tasks with status "DONE"- but we can't complete sprint. There is error - The issues have uncompleted sub-tasks but it is not true.

We don't have option "Resolved"for sub-task. Only DONE.

You have to set a resolution, if your subtask is done.

"Done" is the status, "Resolved" is a resolution. These are totally different things in Jira.

Usually, you set a resolution in your workflow, if the issue is closed. Either programatically through the workflow or by showing your user a transition screen with the resolution field.

Please check the workflow for your subtasks. Look at your subtasks: do they have a Resolution "Unresolved"?

Hi Thomas,

All sub-tasks have the status "DONE".

Yes. The subtasks assigned to the rightmost column of my board

I can't look at your board. This is a user community, not Atlassian Support.

Are your subtasks resolved (that does not mean, they have the status "done")?

Hi Sveta,

- are your subtasks also resolved (do they have a resolution)?

- is the done-status of the subtasks assigned to the rightmost column of your board?
