How can auto select Reporter on Edit Issue?

Thank you for raising this question.

I would like to kindly ask you to perform us some more context about the final goal you are trying to achieve here.

Once you flag the reporter field on the Configure Field tab, as you are displaying in your screenshot, it should keep displaying the Reporter field for the next time you create a new issue, so I think it's not required any code for this.

If you are trying to automatically add a value to the field based on some other selection, then I can provide you with some options to do it.

We will be waiting for your answer to better understand your goal.
