How can assignee see only their own task assigned in JIRA scrum board? Which setting to change?

Hi,

I want that the assignee that I assign should view and change only their own task and should not see other assignee's task and role. Which setting should I change in JIRA Scrum board?

Hi @nrt devi

Just to confirm, users should only see issues they're assigned to? When not assigned, users would not see the issues?

You could use an Issue Security Scheme? You could...

  • Create a Security Level set to be visible to Assignee, and any users who need full access to all issues
  • Make it the default Security Level (so it's assigned to all new issues)
  • Modify existing issues to assign the Security Level

Thanks Stephen,

My Question is suppose I assign 2 person for a different task in a same project. Is it possible that one person should not see other assignee task in the same project.

Hi @nrt devi

I'd give the Security Scheme a go - test it out in your instance, and let us know if it works!

Hi @Ste Wright ,

I think this doesn't work on Jira Free Plan. Is it so?

Hi @nrt devi

No - they're only available on Standard Plans or higher.
