How can I update custom field configuration?

Hi,

I have custom field with select list which hold some values.

I would like to update the list of value, add values to the list via API equivalent to doing it through the custom field configuration UI  .

Is there a way to do that?

When it comes to API, currently, there is no option to edit custom fields. The API supports only GET for custom fields, so in order to add more options or edit any other details, it’s necessary to go through the UI.

There are feature requests suggesting the implementation of this ability:

• Add REST API (PUT, POST, DELETE) for custom field options
• Add, edit, or delete custom fields in REST API
