I have been trying to figure out a way how to show the escalated ticket to the custom field I created.
Scenario:
Project A has a custom field called "Escalated Ticket Number"
Project A is now escalated to Project B with the escalated ticket showing on the issue links.
I wanted that ticket number to show to my custom field "Escalated Ticket Number"
Is there a way I can do this or maybe a different way to do it.

my suggestion is to setup a scripted field (provided by script runner) that check links and show number.

Thank you I have read of script runner before but have not tried it yet. Let me try this one and see if works .
