I use the cloud version of WBS Gantt-Chart Jira.
I read here that it's possible to reuse issue templates in different projects https://docs.ricksoft-inc.com/wbs-gantt-chart-for-jira-cloud/release-notes-wbs-gantt-chart-for-jira-cloud-1--31
But in the field "Issue template share project" of the configuration settings I can't find any issue template share project (1).
At the same time here I read how to create issue templates: https://docs.ricksoft-inc.com/wbs-gantt-chart-for-jira-data-center-and-server-0914/managing-an-issue-template . In the site I read to use the option "issue template" (left picture), but in my view I can't find that option, as shown in the right picture
Hello @Andrea Fontanini,
Alessandro from WBS Gantt-Chart support team here - allow me to address the questions you posted below:
in the field "Issue template share project" of the configuration settings I can't find any issue template share project (1)
In the Issue template share project field, you need to insert the name of the Project in which your templates are stored; Sometimes it can be confusing if you are looking for the WBS Gantt-Chart name instead.
At the same time here I read how to create issue templates: https://docs.ricksoft-inc.com/wbs-gantt-chart-for-jira-data-center-and-server-0914/managing-an-issue-template . There are some differences in the user interface for WBS Gantt-Chart Server/Datacenter (On-premises) and Cloud.
The article you fund was referring to the On-premises version of the app. The template view is available when you open a Gantt Chart using the following path from your Jira's top navigation bar:
Apps -> WBS Gantt-Chart -> Your Gantt
Then, the Template will be available as a button on the rightmost corner, as seen in the screenshot below:In case you want to read more, this is the link for the Cloud version https://docs.ricksoft-inc.com/wbs-gantt-chart-for-jira-cloud/managing-an-issue-template
Hope this helps to clarify your questions. Please do reply if there is anything else we can help you with!
Kind Regards,
