×Okay so, I was updating a project board and deleted a custom field titled "Time Spent" which was a numbers field that users filled to reflect the time it took them to complete that ticket.
I Was just removing it from the Ticket but turns out i wasn't supposed to yet and reinstated it immediately. However, I got a complaint saying the fields for all previous tickets is empty and no one remembers how much time they spent on each ticket.
How do I retrieve this data, please help ;-;
Did you delete this custom field and retrieved it from trash, or was it completely gone and you recreated it?
If it's the 2nd then all data is also gone and can't be retrieved.
We had saved this field in the WorkType option. I just removed it from the ticket but it was there in our Field library. Does this situation fall under the 1st or 2nd scenario?

If you removed if from a screen and added it back to the screen, no data will be lost.
Removing a field from a screen, will not remove the data set in the field from the system.
This doesn't even fall in the 1st or 2nd scenario

Hi, @Mubashra Naeem and welcome to the community
Are you sure you only removed it from the screen? If the field was deleted from a Team managed project then the information is gone and can not be retrieved unfortunately.

If the field was deleted in a screen in a Company managed project it would still be available including all data (as @Marc - Devoteam explained above).
Best regards,
