How can I remove Components from the panel for a particular project?

We would like to give the users a simplified menu on the left panel. This project is not using Components, so we would like to remove it.
Is there a way (like with Timeline for example)?

Hi @Tiberiu Mozes , unless something has changed you cannot configure the sidebar to remove Components. Timeline is a feature that can be disabled while Components cannot be disabled.

Have you tried hiding it in the field configuration for the project.
