How can I pull a velocity report that shows velocity against completed work?

I can pull a velocity report, however, it does not show the completed (Done). I am trying to pull team/Art velocity compared to what was completed and not completed

The far right column of our boards are invalid. All our stories move to "Done" status. So the report is looking at column placement and not status?
We don't have any issue when closing the sprints.
We use single space multiple boards. All boards are configured the same.

Hello @Penny Reid

Welcome to the Atlassian community.

Are you accessing the Velocity Report that is provided out of the box for Scrum boards?

https://support.atlassian.com/jira-software-cloud/docs/what-is-the-velocity-report/

That report does show what is Completed when the sprint ended vs. what was Committed at the start of the sprint, and includes an issue list. From that you can infer what was not completed.

I thought it would as well however, ours is not :-(.

Are you able to share details/screen images?

The Committed bar is based on what is in the sprint and estimated before the sprint is started. The Completed bar is based on what is in the sprint and estimated and "completed" (in the right-most column of the board) when the sprint is ended.

If the scope of the board filter is changed, I believe that will retroactively change the report output.

Thank you for that image.

Show that is showing your Commitment at the beginning of the sprints.

It appears that there are no items being "completed" in your sprints. To be considered "completed" the item must be in the right-most column of the Scrum board when the sprint is ended. If the item is in any other column it will be considered incomplete and you will be prompted to move it to the backlog or another sprint.

What experience are you having as sprints are closed?

Do you have multiple scrum boards that display the items, with the boards using different status/column mappings?

Does this concern items from a single Space or multiple Spaces?

Are the items being changed in some manner that removes them from the scope of your board filter, such as being moved to another project?

Thank you so much. When we moved the "Invalid" before "Done" it retroactively fixed the velocity report.
