How can I make the epic panel always display when going to the backlog in Jira?

I want the epic panel to be set to visible at all times. Right now, if I open a project space, I need to manually go to the settings and toggle on epic panel. It's really inefficient to have to do this each time I open a project. Hopefully there is a solution out there! Thanks!

There is not an option to lock the Epics Panel to always be displayed, but the selection you make should persist.

I did find a 2022 change request that seems to indicate that it doesn't persist for Team-managed spaces. The CR has been closed as Won't Fix. I did not test this out to see if it is still behaving this way.
