How can I make the backlog to be a default page when I am opening the project from the Jira pannel?

I want when people are opening the project in Jira, they are navigated to the backlog, not the sprint board. Because there are no sprints in the project.

Your board doent have to be sprint board. You can have a non-sprint board.

But you can also direct users to the create button to create the issue and not navigate to either sprint board or the backlog.

That isn’t configurable unfortunately. I think the idea is that assuming there is an active sprint most users would be looking at what is currently active not what might be next. But that is just May view.
