How can I integrate GitHub with Jira, without a GitHub Enterprise account?

Colleen

So the previous Jira admin who no longer works for our company somehow successfully integrated GitHub with Jira without a GitHub Enterprise account. Yet all the documentation I see shows that GitHub Enterprise is required. For example, here:

Integrate with GitHub | Atlassian Support

She got the plugin working for one of our projects, but I need to apply it to others as well. How do I go about configuring this, with a generic GitHub account, or is this not possible anymore?

Hi @Colleen ,

You should be able to access the configuration menu via the following link (once the Free Github for Jira app is installed):

https://<YOUR-DOMAIN>.atlassian.net/plugins/servlet/ac/com.github.integration.production/github-post-install-page

This app integrates with regular GitHub accounts as well as Enterprise accounts.
