How can I import Epics and Tasks to a Next-Gen project and set the link between in the import file?

Hello,

I am trying to import Epics and Tasks to a Next-Gen project but it seems that I cannot set the link between the Epic and the Task in the csv file.

I tried to use the Parent ID and Issue ID values but it doesn't work.

Here is an example of my file:

Can anyone tell me if this is possible?

Thanks!

Gabriel

Hello @Gabriel Viger

Thank you for reaching out.

Unfortunately, JIRA does not have the ability to import Epic and task links to Next-gen projects yet because the relationship is treated differently between these types of projects(as explained on JSW-17221).

We completely understand how useful this functionality would be and created the following feature request to track our developers progress on that:

Ability to import issues with parent-child(epic-task) relationship to Next-gen projects
