Default Issues view shows a column "Resolution". I already have a "Status" column that meets my need. How can I hide the "Resolution" column?

Hello @Gokul_Bhandary

Welcome to the community.

If you are talking about the issue lists that are available when you click on the "Issues" item in the navigation pane on the left, the columns for those built in reports can't be modified.

Welcome to the Community!

You probably do not want to do this.  Resolution and Status are two separate things, and a lot of Jira uses Resolution to indicate whether an issue is finished with or not.  Status tells us humans, but it doesn't tell (most of) Jira.

As some simple examples, the "assigned to me" list will only show unresolved issues, the "open issues" concept is "resolution is empty", and you can guess what I'll tell you about the "created vs resolved" dashboard gadget.

(Standard recommendation is to keep your status and resolution aligned - set a resolution when moving from an active status to an "end" one, and clear it when going from a closed status to an open one)
