Hello all,
I am trying to give a user permission to be able to create company managed projects but i dont want to give the user full admin permission.
I check global permissions and the only option close to this is the "create team managed projects", i couldnt find the comapny managed project role, iis there a way around this?
thank you
Hello @Adebayo Banjo ,
Good day! Welcome to Atlassian Community :)
A user needs to be a Jira admin ( should have Global Administer Jira permission ) inorder to be able to create company managed projects. We dont have seperate permission settings like team managed project.
Thank you!
Hi Shalini
thanks for the response. so there is no way around this?
what about a situation whereby every jira user needs to be able to create a company mamnaged project and ofc we dont want to give ADMIN right to everyone, how then can I go about this? any ideas? thank you
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
Well, In Jira Cloud, the ability to create Company-managed projects is tied to Jira administrators currently. There is no workaround for now.
We have a FR for the same: Create a separate permission for Create New project.
Thank you!
