How can I get emails when log work is added to item?

How can I get emails when log work is added to item?

I need to get an email whenever log work is entered for a story/task/subtask.

Currently, I'm getting emails for items when the status changes, original estimate changes, or comments are added, etc. but not getting notifications when work is logged.

Is there a way to get notifications on this? If not, is there a way to see an issue when this is done and what the values were?

Hi @Ron Reish ,

welcome to the Atlassian community!

The standard way to do that is to correctly setup your project Notifcation Scheme and, in particular, Work Logged On Issue event.

Hi @Ron Reish and welcome to the Community!

You can set up an automation rule for that, based off the work logged trigger. Your rule may look somewhat like this:
