How can I force description column (In List View) in Issue Navigator to wrap text to fit screen?

Just started having an issue where, after adding the description column in the list view of the Issue Navigator/Search, the description flows way over the edge of the screen. I end up with a horizontal scroll bar at the bottom of the screen that I have to scroll over to see the rest of the issue. This kind of defeats the purpose of the "List View" in making a quick scan by scrolling up and down the list.

 

Anyone aware of how to change this so that the text wraps? Searching everywhere, it seems like this should be the default, and haven't had this issue prior to a week ago.

Hi Phil, nice last name! almost as good as mine. ;-)

So this is sure odd. I'm on cloud and certainly not seeing this. To the best of my understanding there is no configuration for this so either it is a browser interop issue (try another browser to test) or it is a bug introduced or both. Have you recently upgraded?

So I've tested it on multiple browsers and I'm coming into the same issue. We're running hosted on our own server, and I'm not intimately familiar with the update schedule that has been going on in our instance as I'm relatively new to this environment. From past experience though, I was also under the impression that there is no way to change configuration for this, so I was hopeful that perhaps I'd overlooked something. I'm fairly certain there's weekly maintenance in house, but I'm still at a loss what could have possibly changed that would have introduced this change.

 

I'm stumped!

i would reach out to the admin. I'm betting there has been a recent update.

Unfortunately the only updates that have happened during scheduled maintenance are OS updates to the server... Nothing that should have changed this, but obviously something happened. Maybe next OS update it'll decide to swap back!
