I want to be able to have sprints 1.2 with the right feature to be shown in a confluence page. Is there a way to have shown on a confluence page and have be automatically updated. Is there a solution with a JQL Search? Any help would be great!
There are three macros that exist for sprints that can be added to a Confluence page: Days Remaining, Sprint Health, and Sprint Burndown. You can use this and they are clickable for more info.

Nothing shows up when I type in sprint. Is there a specific plugin I need to get?

can you share screenshot? Are you on cloud or server? On cloud I have not had to install anything. I do note there is a system addon called Advanced Macros but can't say if that is required w/o researching.

Nothing shows up and it is not because the text is highlighted since it only highlighted when i took the screenshot.

screenshot? when you click the "other macros" you should see something like below. for the sake of this discussion it is shown w/ "sprint" entered in the search. Wonder if this is a permissions thing.

that doesn't show when I search it up. Could you see if you have any plugins or special permissions so i can know why? by the way the help is very much appreciated! Thank you.

what doesn't show? do you see "other macros" in the "+" drop down? if you do what do you see when you select it?

yes i can get there. I press on the + and then the drop down menu shows, then I click "other macros" at the bottom of the drop down menu. Then it takes me to the usually pop up menu that yours and mine screenshot shows. The problem is when I searched "sprint" nothing showed up.

so my investigation lends me to believe it isn't a permissions thing. How about trying the direct insert method. while editing the page and enter "{" and start typing "sprint". I expect it won't work but maybe that will give you something to try while I look at my addon list. Ultimately, I suspect you are going to need to contact Atlassian Support and have them look at this.

@Sarah Sherer , can you please check your system addons and follow this article to see if by change Jira Macros is not enabled?

nothing comes up when I put in {sprint
I think that is not the right way of doing, because when I was reading the article it looked like it was just on the page not clicking an icon. I figured this screenshot might help, if I'm doing anything wrong.

@Sarah Sherer , your screenshots are not showing up FWIW. Maybe a cut & paste issue vs. uploading?
Can you tell me if you are on Cloud or Server please?
To get to the system addons you should be able to select the type as below.
If you are on server please reference this article. It may be related.

I'm still trying to figure out which server I'm on, but I realized the first screenshot you sent me looks different then when I edit in confluence. It doesn't have the confluence logo and the format of everything looks different. What server are you on or are you on cloud?

I was able to go to Manage Apps and press all apps. I looked under system apps and I did see Advanced Macros.

I'm going to guess it is cloud because I say under manage apps was a Cloud Migration Assistant for Confluence App installed

Could you send me the gadget URLs. Also thanks again I know I'm asking a lot of questions right now, but I'm trying to figure this out before my deadline this Friday.

if on cloud the url will be something like urcompany.atlassian.net
the sprint burndown URL is -https://urcompany.atlassian.net/rest/gadgets/1.0/g/com.pyxis.greenhopper.jira:greenhopper-gadget-sprint-burndown/gadgets/greenhopper-sprint-burndown.xml
replace "urcompany" with your atlassian URL company.

Do you know the exact company or is there a list I could try to see?

Sarah as I mentioned previously your images are not showing so i cannot comment on what you are are seeing. The URL was specifically to the one gadget (sprint burn down as can be seen in the URL.
You might get a quicker resolution going directly to Atlassian Support.

dose it say page unavailable when you open it? That is what I got when trying to open your link link so unless it doesn't say that then the link is probably bad.

Sarah the reason my link is showing as bad for you is that it is unique for my instance. it is only accessible if you are a user on my instance.
At this point you need to reach out to Atlassian Support as I'm out of ideas on how to assist. Wish that was not the case. :-(

My deadline has already pasted and I don't have enough time to contact Atlassian Support.
I would however like to say thank you. Over the past couple days you could perceive me as annoying (I would), but you kept helping me.
From this point on I won't bother anymore.

Sarah, I’m always happy to assist. I wish I knew why you are not seeing these and would still encourage you to reach out to support as you may need in the future. In any event it was no bother at all.
