How can I create two panels in a project?

Çağrı Akman October 9, 2025

Hi!

Before, when I added a new workflow to the project, it automatically created two panels. We could switch between them within the project. Now I added another workflow to the project; but instead of creating separate panels, all the columns appear in one location. I want to create panels for different workflows within the same project and switch between them.

Hi @Çağrı Akman , thanks for your post.

I also observed that the possibility to toggle between different workflows in the board tab has been removed.

However, I just read and verified that you can create another board tab and then filter, for example, on a specific work item type - https://support.atlassian.com/jira-software-cloud/docs/what-is-a-board-in-business-projects/

Please reference the section, 'Use multiple board views'.

I hope this helps you.

Best wishes

Hey @Çağrı Akman ,

Welcome to Atlassian community!

Please help me understand if I have clearly understood the requirement here, let me break it down in below points

  • Previously, when you added a new workflow to your Jira project, it automatically created separate panels (likely boards) allowing you to switch between them.

  • Now, after adding another workflow, all columns from all workflows are appearing together in a single board, rather than as separate board.

  • Your goal: You want to have separate panels (boards) for each workflow within the same project, and be able to switch between them?

Awaiting confirmation.
