How can I create or add a new method for grouping on the Swimlanes ?

Hi, I like to view my items grouped in Swimlane based on my SPRINTS, I see that Sprint option is NOT available on the Swimlane' Select Method dropdown, how can I add a new method to this dropdown?

I understand Queries is an alternative solution, but I have to add query for each of my sprint every time manually which I don't want to do that.

Is there any other way where I can write only one query and it will group by sprints for ALL of my sprints, and it will auto reflect if I create a new sprint in future?

Welcome to the Atlassian community.

It is not possible to add a new option to the Swimlanes choices as you described with native Jira functionality.

There are third party apps you could look at that add features to agile boards. One of them might have the functionality you seek. Are you open to considering third party apps?
