I need a filter to automatically pick up all new issues added to the sprint after it started. How do I create this filter? I don't want to rely on the team to do it manually. I have Jira version 8. Thank you

Hi @Cathy Moretto

You can actually look at a built-in report in the scrum project.  In the sprint report, anything that has a "*" in the summary is a ticket that has been assigned after the sprint started.

As far as I know, there is no way to do it via a JQL.

However, there are a lot plugins in the marketplace such as EazyBI that will help you easily identify newly added tickets for your sprint: https://eazybi.com/accounts/1000/cubes/Issues/reports/243468-sprint-issue-balance
