How can I create a customized conditional field?

Hi everyone,

Althougt I've made a research on Jira community to find a solution, I coudn't see a clear way to do what i need.

Well, Jira provide us natively a cascading custom field, where you can only fill default values, and this doesn't solve our problem. Our financial team has a issue for payment, where there is a "Payment Method" field.

So, the request is to create a conditional, where if the user select "Credit Card", our system will shows him the specific fields for fillment, as credit card banner, etc.

Due to my research, the only way that i have is to pay a external plugin like scriptrunner or dynamicforms.

Could you please confirm whether its natively possible or not?

Hi Felipe,

This is not possible without the use of a plugin. You can use one that you mentioned or write your own. Alternatively, you could just have a field available for Additional payment Information that users populate with credit card info as needed. It doesn't align with infosec best practices and isn't an elegant solution, but is a workaround. Cheers!
