Dear community,
I need help with creating a custom filter for my Jira Work Management Board.
At the moment, Jira itself has predefined some fields that I could filter by. Also, Quick Filters are already predefined for me, so I can't customize them. However, I would like to define new quick filters for myself so that I can filter by custom fields.
How can I do this? I have not found a direct solution to this after my research both in the software itself and in other blog posts.
Thank you very much.
Best regards from Germany
Welcome to the community.
Creating custom Quick Filters in Jira Work Management (JWM) is a bit different from Jira Software. Unfortunately, JWM doesn’t currently allow you to create or customize Quick Filters directly like you can in Jira Software.
However, there’s a workaround you can try:
I hope this may help.
Hi @Annie_DevSamurai ,
thank you for your answer.
Really appreciate this workaround. However, I am missing the Board-View here.
Do you have an idea, how Jira decides, which custom fields are shown in this "Filter" in the Board-view? It only shows me these 2, although I have many other custom fields in this project.
Thanks in advance.

Hi Muhammad,
thanks for your answer.
With your method, I can only create custom filters based on the aspects, Jira shows me. The challenge is, that Jira does not show me the custom fields I need for my filter.
It only shows me these 2:

Yes,
You are right there is no other custom field available. Looks ridiculous.

Did you experience the same problem? That's really annoying that I cannot add other custom fields..
