How can I create a custom field "Customer" in OnDemand

How can I create a custom field "Customer" in OnDemand

I need to create a custom field (drop down list) for the Customer that calls in the ticket. I'll need to get this list from an external source.

I've read "HTTP Feed Custom Field" plugin will work, but this is not supported in OnDemand. How else can I accomplish this?

I think all the plugins that provide simular functionality are not available for ondemand.

It seems like most of the problems I have had with Jira and Confluence are more about OnDemand features being left off than with anything else. Thanks Boris for the answer.
