How can I change the description of a field (which is required) if it is currently marked as optional? When creating a ticket on Jire from the public Slack channel, a window appears with autocomplete suggestions. One field is required—you can’t create the ticket without it—but it’s labeled “optional” , which is misleading. If you try to create the ticket without filling in that field, you don’t get a message saying something went wrong, and the problem isn’t specified. Is it possible to remove the “optional” label from this field for us?
Hello @Agnieszka Weglinska
The optional text in the Slack dialog is generated by the Jira–Slack integration. It is not a field label that can be manually renamed or removed.
The first thing I would check is how the field was made required.

As an end-user, you can't change or remove the "optional" label in the Slack dialog yourself that needs to be adjusted by a Jira administrator.
The Slack dialog pulls directly from the project's Jira Create screen. If a field shows up as optional in Slack, your admin should verify whether it's set to Required in the Field Configuration, If they recently updated the field or screen settings, keep in mind it can also take a short time for those changes to sync over to Slack.
