I have a few existing projects using the Jira Workflow.

I'd like to change the projects to use a Simplified workflow.

how can I do that?

Hello @cjimenez

The "Simplified" workflow is not an actual named workflow. Rather it is a type of workflow that follows certain constraints.

If you have a board that reference just one project that you want to change, you may find a button on the Configure Board > Columns screen that will enable you to change the project to follow the constraints of the simplified workflow.

That button can only appear it the board references just one project. And it may require a certain level of permissions.

If you don't see that button and the board does reference only a single project, then you may not have enough permissions.

In that case you would need to work with a Jira Administrator for your instance to have them construct a simplified workflow and change the project to use the new simplified workflow.
