How can I change the JIra Cloud base URL (paid plan)

From what I can find about changing the base URL for a paid plan Jira Cloud instance, it does not seem to match with the actual settings.

https://support.atlassian.com/organization-administration/docs/update-a-product-url/

It says:

  • From your organization at admin.atlassian.com, click Products > Product URLs.
  • From the site where you want to change the URL, click Update URL.
  • From the Update URL dialog, enter the beginning of the new site URL.
Enter at least 3 characters. You can use lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens if they’re in the middle of the name.
  • Click Continue.
  • From the Updating product URLs dialog, you’ll see a list of products that are updated with the new URL. Click Update to confirm you want to change the URLs.

But there is no 'Products' section at all. See attached image.

How can I change the base URL of my Jira Cloud instance?

Hi @Rob Huijben

Do you see the Products menu in the to navigation bar? I think you are in the settings of a specefic site at the moment and not in the organization level (I know this is confusing)

Just press Products again and you should see other options on left.

Hi @Charlie Misonne

Thank you for your reply. I seem to be in the site specific area indeed, but I can't figure out how to get to the organizational part. When I go to admin.atlassian.com my only option is to view those site specific levels. Should I contact my client to add me to another access group with organization level rights?

Below is my view when entering admin.atlassian.com.

Hi Rob,

You will probably need to be an organization admin. This is not managed by user groups but it is a separate permission on the settings -> administrators page.

Here is the documentation but it does not need the required permission.
