I have our DONE column on the far right, in the green header. I'm trying to force that column to automatically sort by most recently updated OR by when an item was moved to DONE status. Essentially, I want what we completed most recently at the top, followed by what we completed the longest ago at the bottom. Has anyone had success with this function? Thanks in advance!

Hello @Madison Zhang

Another alternative is to set up a second board that is based on a filter that uses ORDER BY Resolved DESC.

Hi,

If you are talking about for example a Kanban board, you can't. A boards sorting is determined by the board's filter (order by) and it applies to the entire board.

Some options (not ideal though):

  • Create a Quick filter that only shows the work items resolved within the last X days
  • Create a Quick filter that only shows the work items updated within the last X days
  • Create a swimlane for updated within X days work items

There are more of these but ... they will eventually filter the entire board or change the appearance of it.

Hope this helps!
